Have you heard of Chubb? No, not THAT Chubb… Nothing to do with security, locks or fire protection. We’re talking about Chubb Insurance – a leading global brand that’s been honing its craft since 1882.

In early 2023 Chubb purchased Cigna Insurance, a long-standing and well-loved brand and Badger client, and tasked us with establishing a positioning for Chubb in the New Zealand market and in the hearts of existing and potential customers.

Understanding the need for a 'local' tone, we crafted a message of "A Life's Work" and engaged our audience through a relatable and heart-warming story demonstrating the love of a Dad for his daughter.

An integrated campaign targeted New Zealanders directly through the TV, social and digital channels, and a phased approach with tailored messaged took the same audience on a journey of discovery about Chubb Life’s unique point of difference and product offering.

The weather, just like life, can be very changeable. This TVNZ 1 weather sponsorship campaign was based on a simple but effective idea. It also uses genuine team members from Chubb who were asked to hold their composure throughout some turbulent weather action. There’s also a slight hint of schadenfreude in that we are laughing at another’s discomfort, in the knowledge that no Chubb employees were harmed in the making of this. They actually had a great time.
